Our Cancellation and Refund Policy

CANCELLATIONS

Bookings

Bookings may be cancelled free of charge if the booking is cancelled with 24hours notice prior to the scheduled consultation or workshop.

Within a twenty four hour period a $60 administration fee will be deducted from the service deposit and the balance refunded within two working days.

Cancellation advice shall be in writing sent by electronic mail.

Feasibility reports, studies and property reports 

All reporting offered by FLYNN must be paid for in full as part of the booking. If, and where, the buyer wishes to cancel the requested service (a report) the buyer should do so in writing as soon as possible. In all instances cancellation of a report service or product will attract a $60 administration fee. In addition to this, cancellation may attract additional fees where work has already commenced on the report. Calculation of this fee will based on our standard hourly rate of $180/hr or part thereof plus disbursements and all other costs incurred by us on your behalf. 

REFUNDS

Australian Consumer Law entitles all consumers to a refund under some circumstances.

Flynn incorporates the ACL's policies into our own refund and cancellation policy.

Where the purchaser (you) has found major fault with the service provided, you are entitled to a full refund.

A major fault in delivery of our service occurs if the service was:

  • provided with an unacceptable level of care and skill

  • unfit for the purpose you asked for

  • not delivered within a reasonable time when there is no agreed end date.

Your are NOT entitled to a refund if you:

  • changed your mind

  • insisted on having a service provided in a particular way, against the provider’s advice

  • failed to clearly explain your needs to the provider.

Also, you cannot cancel a service contract or get a refund if the problem was outside the control of the provider.

Where a product or service is cancelled or refunded by FLYNN and that product or service has been included in a broader contract for service the refund and/or cancellation applies only to that product or service for which the refund or cancellation request was made. No refund or cancellation granted by FLYNN will serve as an intention to waiver any other rights FLYNN may still have with the purchaser under any contracts it has with the purchaser. Nor shall any grant of a request for refund or a cancellation of service as described above be deemed as consent by FLYNN to frustrate a contract or release the purchaser that made the request from any other obligations which that purchaser may still have under contract to FLYNN.
